In the continuity of the first Québec-France-Maghreb-Africa exchanges within the framework of the Summer University of Social Movements in France, we offer an international videoconference to share practices and reflections on Education for Global and Solidarity Citizenship.
This conference, initiated by the international committee of the Festival des Solidarités (Festisol) and moderated by the AQOCI (Association québécoise des de cooperation internationale), will last approximately two hours and will allow people to present, in French, the ECSI/ECM approaches implemented in their country, specifying in particular how to took into account the issue of decolonization. This will be followed by an exchange time.
This activity is aimed at actors in ECM/ECSI from various countries.
Objectives of the activity
- Exchange on the differences and similarities of Global Citizenship Education/International Solidarity (ECM/ECSI) practices in different countries.
- Share our visions on decolonial approaches.
- Spark interest in an international Francophone network in education for global citizenship and international solidarity

Time: 3 pm to 5 pm UTC/Coordinated Universal Time (10 am-12 pm Quebec, 3 pm - 5 pm Guinea/Ivory Coast/Burkina Faso and 4 pm - 6 pm Morocco/Belgium/France/Benin/Cameroon/Congo)
