Assignment description :
The CIFÉE association organizes - with its partners in Germany and France - the exchange program 'Franco-German Ecological Volunteering' (VEFA). She accompanies young people from the moment they apply (support in finding the host structure, putting candidates in contact with tutors, etc.) and during their year of volunteering (contact by email, telephone, videoconference or meeting between a CIFÉE manager and the volunteer in their host structure). A moment of exchange are also the four Franco-German seminars for volunteers participating in the VEFA.
Plant-for-the-Planet now brings together more than 83,000 children and young people from 74 countries. As climate justice ambassadors, they make speeches for adults, push them to take action and plant trees.
The objectives of the mission are:
- Actively contribute to the protection of nature and the environment;
- Support structures and increase their reputation in order to introduce the population to sustainable development behavior.
The actions proposed as part of the mission:
- Participation in the daily routine of the foundation's office: receiving and transferring telephone calls etc.
- Communicate with and support donors
- Management of our platforms on social networks
- Administrative support for the organization, documentation and follow-up of “Plant-for-the-Planet” academies (one-day events for children on the subject of the climate crisis).
Volunteers are invited to make proposals and supported to develop and carry out possible new projects. The volunteer participates in 4 Franco-German seminars (duration: 25 days in total, including PSC1) organized by the OFAJ. The volunteer is accompanied by his tutor on site and by his tutor from the sending organization in France, CIFÉE.
