Assignment description : VISA-AD “International Volunteering in the Service of Others” is a structure for sending, welcoming and supporting young volunteers motivated for social or educational services in France and abroad. Its role as a Union of Associations is to organize, recruit, monitor and train volunteers. We provide administrative support and advice to organizations so that missions are carried out in accordance with the ethics of Volunteering.
This mission is part of a collaborative project with social structures in the United Kingdom promoting the reintegration of vulnerable women into society. You will support the staff of the center in the various tasks to ensure the proper functioning of the structure.
The volunteer will be able to engage in a project that aims to support women in precarious situations, in search of autonomy. The center offers emergency accommodation as well as long-term accommodation and organizes numerous training courses and educational workshops.
You will be involved in the following actions:

- Contribute to the functioning of the various services (e.g. reception of homeless women) and will support the promotion of the various programs developed by the center: employment, training and significant activities (advice, workshops for healthy eating, cooking, yoga, cooking, yoga, cooking, yoga, project newsletter, sewing group, etc.).

- Participate in the development of the “Women into Work Clothing Facility” action, by sorting the clothes received and by helping women find appropriate clothing in a professional context (e.g. for an interview)

- Participate in the organization and promotion of events set up within the structure for women.

You will benefit from mandatory PSC1 training, “civic and civic” preparation for departure and integration seminars upon arrival. You will be supervised by a professional team and supported in organizing your departure and settling in the United Kingdom.
