Assignment description :
VISA-AD “International Volunteering in the Service of Others” is a structure for sending, welcoming and supporting young volunteers motivated for social or educational services in France and abroad. Its role as a Union of Associations is to organize, recruit, monitor and train volunteers. We provide administrative support and advice to organizations so that missions are carried out in accordance with the ethics of Volunteering.
You will participate in the establishment and development of educational and social actions carried out by the La Noche center in one of its services: preschool/primary school, reception center for unaccompanied minors or for women in vulnerable situations (with or without children).
The “La Noce” Center is a non-profit organization that works for people in need of support (especially minors), offering them social and educational support. La Noche carries out actions for the prevention and social inclusion of disadvantaged people.
After an observation phase, you will intervene:
- at kindergarten and primary school in order to help teachers prepare for class work and activities, organize outings; help children with their homework; set up leisure activities etc.
and/or
- in reception structures for unaccompanied minors and/or women in vulnerable situations with or without children in order to provide assistance in setting up and facilitating creative activities; participate in workshops and training for the beneficiaries of the center; participate in the material life of the reception structures (maintenance of the premises, cleaning, shopping, tidying up, etc.); get involved in the preparation and participation in cultural and educational activities for the beneficiaries of the center.
You will be housed and fed by the host structure in exchange for a contribution of 100 euros per month. You will benefit from mandatory PSC1 training, “civic and civic” preparation for departure and intercultural seminars upon arrival. You will be supervised by a professional team and supported in the organization of your departure and your installation in Italy.
