Assignment description : The Volunteering House of Rhineland-Palatinate association (MRP Volunteering) offers you the opportunity to carry out various missions in the Franco-German field, in particular within the framework of Franco-German Volunteering. Franco-German Volunteering is carried out in partnership with the Civic Service and the Franco-German Youth Office. Both the VEFA and the VCFA represent a year of professional orientation for young French people aged 18 to 25, open and motivated who want to get involved in the field of nature and environmental protection or culture in Germany. The projects and missions during the Franco-German volunteer year are vast and affect different areas, in relation to ecology, sustainable development, culture (the descriptions can be found on our websites: www.ve-fa.org (for ecology) and www.vc-fa.org (for culture). The VEFA association also offers shorter missions, such as the mission of the ambassadors of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté-Rheinland-Pfalz regions and the missions within Franco-German cultural centers and Goethe Institutes.
The Deutscher Werkbund (DWB) is over 100 years old, but its concerns are resolutely current: It embodies sustainability, quality and the human environment. Along with 7 other institutions, he is an actor in the Zentrum für Baukultur Sachsen located in the recently renovated Kulturpalast in Dresden.
The activities offered:
- Collaboration within the office of DWB Saxony;
- Project implementation;
- Support for the organization of events and excursions;
- Rethink the permanent exhibition, acquire image rights, etc.;
- Enrich the permanent digital exhibition (hellerau-entdecken.de) with current content/other languages;
- Support during guided tours of the garden city and the Festspielhaus Hellerau, development of new concepts for fun visits for children and young people.
Activities at the Visitor Center:

- Explanations about the historic site;
- Sale of literature, postcards and tickets.

During the volunteering year, you benefit from 4 weeks of Franco-German seminars conducted by intercultural trainers. You benefit from double tutoring. There will be a tutor from your host structure and an educational manager within the sending organization.
