Assignment description : A bi-governmental organization, the Office Franco-Québécois pour la Jeunesse (OFQJ) is a generator of opportunities for 18-35 year olds. Established in France and Quebec, the OFQJ advises and supports nearly 5,000 young French people aged 18 to 35 each year in their mobility project across the Atlantic (internship, temporary employment, participation in an event, event, commercial mission, thematic delegation, etc.).
The cultural mediation mission is part of the global project of the Alliance Française d'Edmonton, which is to promote the French language and Francophone cultures to a wide audience, in Alberta and more widely in Western Canada. The mission makes it possible to make Francophone culture more accessible to diverse audiences. It contributes to cultural inclusion: the events and mediations offered are all opportunities to practice the language beyond the school setting.
Proposed actions:
- Support for the organization of events and activities: invitations, registrations, relationships with partners, logistics, animation, monitoring/assessment etc.

- Support for the promotion and animation of socio-cultural meetings: shows, concerts, game evenings, coffee or aperitif meetings, movie evenings, etc.

- Communication assistance:

➢ Social networks (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Meetup), website

➢ Creation of visuals and the monthly newsletter

- Assistance in finding partners and funding

- Assistance on press relations: press releases, media contact, follow-up etc.

- Assistance on the media library: sorting and updating the database of our media library, highlighting the media library
