Assignment description : The Alliance Française is a French organization created in 1883 whose objective is to promote the French language and French culture outside France. Apolitical and atheist, she has made it her mission to teach the French language in the world and to develop knowledge of French and Francophone cultures. It aims to promote, through dialogue between cultures, better understanding between peoples and a spirit of cooperation based on solidarity and mutual respect.
The objective of the mission is to facilitate the learning of French and promote Francophone cultures for the audiences of the Alliance Française de Buenos Aires and its network of schools that teach French. Numerous trips are to be expected. The mission of educational civic service consists in promoting intercultural encounters between Francophone cultures and Argentine culture, through the French language. The aim of this meeting is to increase the desire to learn the French language and to encourage tolerance.
Actions proposed to the volunteer:
-Organize the agenda of activities of affiliated colleges
-Design fun and cultural events and activities that promote the acquisition of the French language and the discovery of Francophone cultures
-Promote the emergence of active and informal learning spaces in French
-Support the educational department in the design of educational materials on various platforms/social networks
-Support the teaching team (enrichment of French as a foreign language courses and assistance in the design of educational materials)
-Facilitate French as a Foreign Language courses, in particular to promote the emergence of more informal and authentic linguistic spaces
-Support the teaching team in terms of official certifications and exam-correct, according to the profile (DELF/DALF, TEF).

Tutoring consists of educational support (educational advice, observations, etc.). Victoire Vandesmet will be the tutor.
