Assignment description : VISA-AD “International Volunteering in the Service of Others” is a structure for sending, welcoming and supporting young volunteers motivated for social or educational services in France and abroad. Its role as a Union of Associations is to organize, recruit, monitor and train volunteers. We provide administrative support and advice to organizations so that missions are carried out in accordance with the ethics of Volunteering.
The sports center is located near Birmingham. The structure offers a large number of sports and leisure activities for all ages. The volunteer comes to help the operation of the center and to support the animation of sports activities. It is hosted on site.
The missions developed take into account the current situation of youth, in a context where young people are increasingly vulnerable to societal phenomena. The center offers activities and contributes to the education and promotion of physical activity and sports.

As a volunteer:

✅ you will support the work of animators and supervisors in their indoor and outdoor sports activities.

✅ you will support the team in welcoming groups and will be able to help with maintenance tasks at the center.

✅ you will meet the groups to facilitate their integration and access to the various sports activities developed by the center.

✅ you will encourage the integration of newcomers and their involvement in the various activities.

You will benefit from mandatory PSC1 training, “civic & civic” preparation for departure and a welcome seminar upon arrival. You will participate on site in training in various sports activities and entertainment. These formations are supported by the structure.
