Thanks to AFX Student Exchange, December and January, young Australians come to France and are welcomed into the family of their correspondent, thus sharing daily French school and family life for 4 or 6 weeks.
Every summer, French participants leave in groups, to Australia accompanied by a member of the AFX team for trips between Paris and Melbourne. There, they live with their Australian correspondent of the same age, discover local school and family life, and dive into the heart of Australian culture.

The stay in Australia is organized according to the local school calendar, which may potentially include a vacation period, in order to take full advantage of this experience while attending classes. This program offers cultural, linguistic, and human immersion, designed to create strong and lasting relationships.

Participation conditions (cost, language proficiency, etc.) :
Participation in the program is subject to the payment of registration and program fees as defined by AFX Student Exchange. Participants must be between the ages of 14 and 17, educated, and motivated by a cultural immersion experience. No English level is required. The French family is committed to welcoming the Australian correspondent in a single room for the duration of his stay and to participate fully in the exchange.
Acceptance conditions (compensation, transport, accommodation, meals, etc.) :
During the period of reception in France, the French family takes care of accommodation in a single room, meals and the integration of the Australian correspondent. During the stay in Australia, the Australian host family in turn ensures the accommodation, meals and integration of the young French person. Depending on the package chosen, international flights, insurance, support and program monitoring are included. Personal expenses (pocket money, hobbies, personal purchases, etc.) remain the responsibility of each participant.
